Once in a big forest there lived a wise Old owl.

He was very smart and kind.

Many times animals would come to the owl’s house to ask him questions.

One day Owl's friend Ronny the robin came knocking at his door.

Ronny told Mr. Owl that he and his friend needed to build a new home.

They needed a new home because some people had chopped down their old home.

Mr. Owl told him that he should built his house on the south side of the forest.

He told him that in the north people chop down trees for wood.

So Ronny and his friend went to the south like Owl told them to.

A few days later Mr. Owl got another visitor at his home.

His name was Danny the dragonfly and he needed to ask him something.

He said he needed a place to live but did no know where.

The wise old Owl said the south side just as he told his friend Ronny.

Danny left Owl’s home but he thought that the Owl was wrong so he went North.

Sometime later Danny found a nice tree with a little hole on it.

He pushed himself inside and went to sleep.

Chop! Chop! Danny looked out of his hole and saw a big person with an axe.

He quickly flew out of his house just in time to see the tree fall.

Danny was very sad. He knew he should have taken the Owl’s advice.

So he flew over to Owl’s home and knocked on his door.

Mr. Owl opened his door and invited Danny inside.

Danny told Owl everything and that he did not know what to do.

Owl put his wing over Danny and said he could stay with him.

Danny was so happy and so was Owl.

That night Danny promised he would never disobey Mr. Owl’s advice again.
